AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO,77,17
(VEHICLE,.LICEN$E)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE 'VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,
Section 1, Amendment
Section 2 of Ordinance No, 77 -17 (as amended) is hereby
repealed in its entirety and the following enacted in lieu thereof;

Any vehicle registered by the State of Illinois to a person,
firm or corporation within the confines of the Village shal-I have a

Section 3 of Ordinance No, 77 -17, as amended, is hereby further

amended by adding thereto the following Section 3 (m)
Section 3, (m) Notwithstanding any section or paragraph of this
ordinance, no village license may be required of a vehicle if said
vehicle is leased, and the lease has a right of purchase, the vehicle
is not principally garaged in the Village and proof of purchase of
any municipal license is made to the Village Clerk,

Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this
Ordinance shall be fined not less than $15,00 nor more than $500,00
for each offense," and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on
each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues,

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication according to law, This Ordinance
may be published in pamphlet form,
