AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING N , F , P' , A . NUMBER 54-19'69.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Statute three (3) copies of Standard
for the Installation of Gas Appliances and Gas Piping, con-
tained in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) No.
54 -1969, have been on file with the Village Clerk for more than
30 days last past and that the same have been and are available
for public inspection, and
WHEREAS, the said Code has been reviewed and approved by
various members of the Village Staff,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. The Standard for the Installation of Gas Appli-
ances and Gas Piping contained in the National Fire Protection
Association (NFPA) No. 54 -1969 is hereby adopted by reference
and may be published in pamphlet form,
Section 2, Any person, firm or corporation violating any
provision of this Ordinance shall be fined not less than $10
or more than $500 for each.violation. Each day that a violation
continues shall be considered a new violation.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law,
