ORDINANCE NO. 77 - 34
Ordinance Prohibiting the Business of Delivering
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Buffalo Grove have determined that the
delivering of wager or bets is not in the best interests of
the health, safety and morals of the Village.
Be it Ordained by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties,
Illinois:
Section 1: It shall be unlawful to engage in
the business of delivering wagers or bets.
Section 2 Penalty: Any person, firm or corporation
violating any provision of this ordinance shall be fined not
less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than Five Hundred
Dollars ($500.00) for each offense. A separate offense shall
be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation
continues.
Section 3` This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law. The Clerk may publish this ordinance in
pamphlet form.
