1974-00601RDINANCE NO. 74 - �2 CONVEYANCE OF REAL ESTATE TO BUFFALO GROVE PARK DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Buffalo Grove Park District has represented more land is needed for park and recreational facilities and that it will improve the land described herein and use it for park and recreational purposes if said land is conveyed to it, and WHEREAS, the Village considers that it is to the best interest of the public to convey the property described herein to the Park District for park and recreational facilities, and WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove, pursuant to the provisions of "An Act in Relation to the Transfer of Real Estate Owned by Municipalities" Chapter 30, Paragraphs 156 -158 &, Ill. Revised Statutes ]#M is desirous of effecting said transfer, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth: NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS: Section 1: The President and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Quit Claim Deed convey- ing the real estate herein described to the Buffalo Grove Park District, subject to the stipulations and conditions herein set forth: Lots 23 to 42, both inclusive, all in Block 25 in Strathmore in Buffalo Grove, Unit 13, being a Subdivision of part of the North West quarter of the North West quarter of Section 32, Township 43'North, Range 11, East of the Third' Principal Meridian according to the plat thereof, recorded November 25, 1969 as Document 1443902, in Book 46 of Plats, page 74, in Lake County, Illinois, Section 2: The deed shall contain the following Reverter Clause: "In the event the said real estate is not used by the Grantee for park and /or recreational purposes for a period in excess of six months, title and possession shall revert to the Grantor."
