SALE OF REAL ESTATE TO BUFFALO GROVE
PARK DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Buffalo Grove Park District is a
municipal corporation organized for the purpose of owning
and operating park and recreational facilities, and
WHEREAS, the said District has represented that it has
Federal, Bond, and Tax Funds and it is desirous of purchas-
ing and improving land now owned by the Village for park
and recreational purposes, and
WHEREAS, the Village considers that it is to the
best interest of the public to sell the following property.
to the Park District for such uses and purposes, and

WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove, pursuant to
the provisions of "An Act in Relation to the Transfer of
Real Estate Owned by Municipalities" Chapter 30, Para-
graphs 156 -158a, Illinois Revised Statutes 1969 is
desirous of effecting a sale and transfer upon payment of
agreed purchase price:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK
AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. The President and Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute a deed conveying the
following described real estate to the Buffalo Grove Park
District:
All that part of the Northeast a of Section 32,
Township 43 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd
Principal Meridian bounded by a line described
as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of
said Northeast a; thence North 8904610" East along
the South line of said quarter section, 985.30
feet to a point on said line which is 336.90
feet West of the Southeast corner of the West 2
of said Northeast ;; thence North 15036'25" West,
427.25 feet; thence North 72010146" East, 290.39
feet; thence South 17049114" East, 111.59 feet;,
thence North 75055129" East, 191.58 feet; thence
North 24023139" West, 152.53 feet; thence South
72006'25" West, 47.23 feet; thence North 71054'42"
West, 590.11 feet to a point on the Southeasterly line
of Block 6 in Strathmore in Buffalo Grove, Unit
No. 5, a subdivision in the Northeast 4 of said
Section 32, which is 41.01 feet Southwesterly of
the Northeasterly corner of Lot 31 in said Block
6; thence South and West the following described courses
along the Southeasterly line of said Block 6 to
the place of beginning, South 18005'18" West,
123.79 feet; South 27058948" West, 165.56 feet;
South 37053138" West, 165.56 feet; South 48034105"
West, 165.38 feet; South 55006'21" West, 434.17
feet, all in Lake County, Illinois.
Subject to permanent easement for construction repair
and maintenance of sanitary sewer.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
