1972-008ORDINANCE NO. V AN ORDINANCE RESTRICTING SANITARY SEWER AND STORM WATER CONNECTIONS ON ROUTE 68 (DUNDEE ROAD) BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois. WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove and the State of Illinois, acting by and through its Department of Public Works and Buildings, Division of Highways, have entered into an agreement relative to the improvement of FAS Route 115 (Dundee Road) State Section 3041 -15 D -Z -R, Village Section 3cs, and WHEREAS, in order to facilitate said improvement it is necessary for the Village to adopt an ordinance regulating sanitary sewer connections, discharge of sanitary and industrial waste into storm sewers, and discharge of any storm water into sanitary sewers, constructed as a part of this improvement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois: Section 1. Without the prior consent of the State and the Village, it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to (a) Cause the discharge of sanitary or industrial waste water into any storm sewer; (b) Make any additional storm sewer connections to storm sewers; (c) Discharge any storm water, including but €- !• �• +��il� •_ not exclusively, ground water from foundation drains into the sanitary sewer. Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $10.00 nor more than $500.00 for each offense and a separate offense shall be deemed committed for each and every day during which a violation continues to exist. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed insofar as they conflict herewith. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication pursuant to law. PASSED this to day of ✓'.- , 197-2.'
