ORDI�iANCE NO. 72
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR
A MUNICIPAL COLLECTOR
NOW1 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section
3-8-3 of Chapt. 24, Illinois Revised Statutes 1971 there is
hereby created the office of Village Collector.
SECTION 2. The Village Collector shall be appointed
by the President by and with the consent of the Board of Trustees.
SECTION 3. The 'Village Collector may be removed from
office at the pleasure of the President by and with the consent
of the Board of Trustees.
SECTION 4. The Village Collector shall have all of
the functions and duties as set forth in Section 3 -11 -25 of
the aforesaid Chapt. 24 and such other functions and duties as
the President and Board of Trustees may assign from time to time.
SECTION 5. The salary of the Village Collector shall
be ?D— 00 per month.
SECTION 6. If any word, sentence or paragraph of
this Ordinance shall be held to be invalid, such provision shall
be deemed to be excised herefrom and the validity thereof shall
not affect any of the other provisions of this Ordinance.
SECTION 7. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
