1969-005ORDINANCE No. 69 — &' 1969 REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1. There shall be a regular municipal election of officers in the Village on Tuesday, April 15, 1969. SECTION 2. At such election, there shall be elected: 3 Village Trustees - 4 year term each. SECTION 3. The ballot to be used in such election shall be in the form prescribed by statute. It shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to see to the preparation of sufficient ballots for the election and cause a sample of such ballot to be published prior to the day of election in the wheeling Herald and the Wheeling Independent, newspapers of general circulation within the Village (there being no newspaper published within the Village). The Clerk shall provide necessary election supplies for each district or precinct. SECTION 4. At least 15 days but not more than 30 days before the election, the Clerk shall cause to be published in such newspapers a notice of election, which shall be substantially as follows: NOTICE OF ELECTION On the 15th day of April, 1969, there will be a regular municipal election in the Village of Buffalo 'Grove, Illinois, to elect: 3 Village Trustees - 4 year term each. For the purpose of the election, the territory within the Village is divided into election precincts, the boundaries and polling places of which shall be as follows: Precinct 1. Polling Place: Precinct 2. All that area within the Village lying south of the center line of Dundee Road. 916 Saxon Place Buffalo Grove, Illinois. All that part of the Village from Buffalo Grove Road west to the center line of Hiawatha Avenue and from the center line of Dundee Road, north to the center line of Lake Cook Road, all of Stillwell Drive, all of Patton Drive, Hawthorn Road from Hawthorn Court up to and including house number 432, all of the north side', of St. Mary's west to Mary Lu Lane, all of the east side of Mary Lu Lane, all that part of the Village in Lake County. Polling Place: Emmerich Park Building. Precinct 3. All that part of the Village bounded on the south by the center line of Dundee Road, on the north by the center line of Lake Cook Road and on the west by the center line of Weidner Road; all of the west side of Hiawatha; all of the west side of'.Mary Lu Lane; all of Bernard west of the center line of Hiawatha to the center line of Weidner Road; all of Hawthorn Road east from White Pine Road up to and including house number 570. Polling Place: Alcott School Precinct 4. All that part of the Village bounded on the east by the center line of Weidner Road, on the north by the center line of Lake Cook Road, bounded on the west by the Village limits and bounded on the south by the center line of Dundee Road. Polling Place: 1 Strathmore Court. Buffalo Grove, Illinois Polls shall be open from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. Central Standard Time. Published by order of President and Board of Trustees. The judges of election shall be such as shall be hereafter designated by the President and Board of Trustees to serve as electio n officials. Section 7. The said election and all matters pertaining thereto shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by statute for the conduct of a regular election for Village officers. Section 8.
