1967 REGULAR ELECTION ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. There shall be a regular election of officers
in the Village on Tuesday, April 18, 1967.
Section 2. At such election, there shall be elected:
(a) Village President - 4 year term
(b) 3 Village Trustees - 4year terms
(c) 1 Village Clerk - 4year term.
Section 3. The ballot to be used in such election shall
be in the form prescribed by Statute. It shall be the duty
of the Village Clerk to see to the preparation of sufficient
ballots for the election and cause a sample of such ballot to
be published prior to the day of election in the Wheeling Herald,
a newspaper of general circulation within the Village (there
being no newspaper published within the Village). The Clerk
shall provide necessary election supplies for each district or
precinct.
Section 4. At least 15 days but not more than 30 days
before the election, the Clerk shall cause to be published in
such newspaper a notice of election, which shall be substantially
as follows:

On the 18th day of April, 1967, there will be a regular
election in the Village of Buffalo Grove, Illinois to elect:
(a) Village President - 4 year term
(b) 1 Village Clerk - 4 year term
(c) 3 Village Trustees- 4 year terms

- Section 5. For the purpose of the election, the territory
within the Village is divided into election precincts, the
boundaries and polling places of which shall be as follows:
Precinct No. 1: Comprising all of that part of the Village of
Buffalo Grove in Cook County not included in
Precinct'No. 2.
Polling Place: Ranch Mart Community Room
Buffalo Grove Road
Buffalo Grove, Illinois
Precinct No. 2: Comprising all of that part of the Village of
Buffalo Grove in Lake County and all of that
part of the Village in Cook County lying west
of the line described as follows: starting at
a point where the extended centerline of Raupp
Boulevard intersects the Cook -Lake County
boundary, thence southeasterly along said
extended centerline to Raupp Boulevard, thence
southeasterly and southerly along the center-
line of Raupp Boulevard to the point of inter-
section with the centerline of Golfview Terrace
to the south side of Dundee Road.
Polling Place Louisa May Alcott School
Bernard Drive
Buffalo Grove, Illinois
Polls shall be open from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. Central Standard Time.

Section 6. The Precincts for such election and polling places

shall be those designated in the preceding section.
Section 7. The judges of election shall be such as shall be
hereafter designated by the President and Board of Trustees to
serve as election officials.

Section 8. The said election and all matters pertaining
thereto shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by statute
for the conduct of a regular election for Village officers.
Section 9. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
