AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 60 -5 AS
AMENDED, BEING AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING
A POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS,
SECTION 1. Section 7 of said Ordinance is hereby amended
by adding the following paragraph thereto:
(d) CROSSING GUARDS. Male or female crossing
guards may be employed by the Village. Said
guards shall control and regulate pedestrian
and vehicular traffic at points designated
from time to time and shall be under the control
and supervision of the Chief of Police. Com-
pensation paid said guards shall be that provided
by Resolution.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
