ORDINANCE! # (dZ '63 -2
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO-GROVE, ILLINOIS, THAT:
Section.-I. There is a vacancy on the Board of
Trustees of said Village caused by the resignation
of JAMES GILLEN, temporarily filled pursuant to
Statute; and that the term of said office expires
on the third Tuesday of April of 1965.
Section 2. That the Village of Buffalo Grove
is now in two counties, Lake County and Cook County.
Section 3. That there is a general election in
the Village on the 16th day of April, 1963 pursuant
to the Statutes for the purpose of electing a Presi-
dent, three Trustees and a Clerk; that on the same
day there shall be elected pursuant to Section
3- 3.1 -1, Chapter 24, Illinois Revised Statutes for
1962 a Municipal Justice to serve for a term of
tw@ years from the date of his election and until
his successor is elected and has qualified.
Section 4. Thus, there shall be elected at the
election to be held on April 16, 1963 one Trustee .
to serve from the date of his election to the third
Tuesday in April of 1965; one Municipal Justice
to serve from the date of his election and until the
third - Tuesday in April of 1965_; three Trustees to
serve for a period of four years pursuant to
Statute; one Village President to serve for a term
of four years pursuant to Statute and one Village
Clerk to serve for a term of-four years pursuant to
Statute.
Section S. The ballots used in such election
shall be in the form provided by Statute. The
Village Clerk shall see to the preparation of
sufficient ballots for the election and shall cause
a sample of such ballot to be published prior to the
day of election in a newspaper of general circulation
publishedin the Village and posted in three public
places.
Section 6. Not less than fifteen (15) nor
more.than thirty (30) days before the election,
the Clerk shall cause to be published in such news -
paper and posted in at least three public places
a notice of election which shall be in the form
required by law.

Section 7. Polls will be open from 6 A.M. to
6 P.M. The precincts and polling places for such elec-
tion shall be:
Precinct #38 - Center of Raup -? Boulevard East
Precinct f51 - Center of Raupp Boulevard West
Polling Place �; Precinct #38 at 88 Buffalo Grove Road
- Precinct #51 at Louisa Hay Alcott School
All Purpose Room
Section 8. Judges of election shall be such as
shall be designated by the President and Board of
Trustees by resolution.
Section 9. Said election and all matters per-
taining thereto shall be conducted in the manner
prescribed for the conduct of elections.
THIS ORDINANCE.SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT
from and after its passage; approval and publication
according to law.
