CLOHESM a Clerk � Villa in rook C-0unty Her - ald and Wheeling Herald Jan - uary 25, 198:. , rl 0 - ­ .� ORDINANCE # 62 4-62 -1 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, SECTION 1, The matter of whether a special tax for police protection in an amount not to exceed,15% of the full fair cash value as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue of all taxable property within the Village be levied pursuant to Section 11 -1 -1 through 11 -1 -4 of Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised Statutes for 1961 shall be submitted to a referendum at a special election. SECTION 2. A special election shall be held for such purpose on the 27th day of January, 1962. SECTION 3. The Ballot to be used at such special election shall be in substantially the following form: "Shall Section 11 -1 -3 of the Illinois Municipal Code permitting cities and Villages containing less than 500,000 YES inhabitants to levy a tax for police protection purposes be adopted, and a NO tax of.jS % be levied for such purposes ?" SECTION 4. It shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to see to the preparation of the ballots, notice of election and provide necessary election supplies. SECTION 5.
