NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on TUESDAY, the 18th day of APRIL,
A.D., 1961, in the VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COON COUNTY, ILLINOIS,
a regular election will be held.
The Officers to be elected are:
Three Village Trustees for a four year term each
A Village Trustee to fill the unexpired term of
Robert C. Schreiber, resigned
A Police Magistrate for a four year term
The precincts and polling places for such election shall be:

1961 ELECTION ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There shall be a regular election of
officers in the village on the 4th day of April, 1961.
SECTION 2. At such election, there shall be
elected three village trustees for a four year term; a Police
Magistrate for a four year term; a).d one trustee to fill

unexpired term of Trustee --- 4ft*Q who resigned and whose
position is now being filled by William Farrington by unani-
mous consent of the President and Board of Trustees and pur-
suant to Statute. The ballot to be used in such election
shall be in the form prescribed by statute, and it shall be
the duty of the Village Clerk to see to the preparation of suf-
ficient ballots for the election, and to cause a sample of such
ballot to be published prior to the day of election in a news-
paper of general, circulation published in the Village, and to
be provided the necessary election supplies for each voting
district or precinct.
SECTION 3. At least fifteen (15) but not more than
thirty (30) days before the election, the Clerk shall cause to
be published in such newspaper a notice of election which shall
be substantially as follows;

SECTION 4. The precinct or voting districts for such
election and the polling place shall be designated in the pre-
ceding section.
SECTION 5. The judges of election shall be such as
shall be hereafter designated by the President and Board of
Trustees to serve as election officials.
SECTION 6. The said election and all matters per-
twining thereto shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by

statute for the conduct of a regular election for Village
officers.
