AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE VILLAGE OF
BUFFALO GROVE
WHEREAS, the land hereinafter described is being
used and /or is dedicated for highways, and
WHEREAS, said land is contiguous to the Village,
is not in any other city, village or incorporated town, and
WHEREAS, upon due consideration it is considered
to the best.interest of the Village to annex said land.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. The following described parcels of land are
hereby annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove,
Cook County, Illinois:
Parcel #1 - Plat #1
That part of the East half of Buffalo Grove
Road and described as follows A strip of land
50 feet in width lying East of and adjoining the
East line of the West three - quarters of the South-
west Quarter of Section 4, Township 42 North, Range
11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, and
lying South of the South line of the North 10.71.
chains of said Southwest Quarter, in Cook County,
Illinois.
Parcel #2 - Plat #2
That part of the South half of Dundee Road and
described as follows: The West 1969.11 feet of
the North 50 feet of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 9, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of
the Third Principal Meridian,
AND
The East 405 feet of the North 50 feet and the West
0
233.16 feet of the East 813.16 feet of the
North 50 feet of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 8, Township 42 North, Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois.
SECTION 2. Plats of said land are attached to this Ordinance
and made a partthereof as Plats #1 and #2.
SECTION 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to forthwith file a certified copy of
this ordinance in the Office of the County
Recorder of Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
