2012-0449/4/2012 ORDINANCE NO. 2012 — 44 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE TITLE 17 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS CONCERNING AUTOMOBILE LAUNDRY AS A SPECIAL USE IN THE B -2 and B -3 DISTRICTS WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the Illinois Constitution.of 1970; and, WHEREAS, automobile laundry is defined in Section 17.12.040 of the Village Zoning Ordinance, Title 17 of the Buffalo Grove Municipal Code; and, WHEREAS, the Village has determined that amendments to the Village Zoning Ordinance, Title 17 of the Buffalo Grove Municipal Code, are necessary concerning the addition of automobile laundry as a special use in the B -2 and B -3 Districts; and, WHEREAS, the Village Plan Commission conducted a public hearing on August 1, 2012 concerning said amendment and determined that the proposed amendment is appropriate to properly regulate an automobile laundry in the B -2 and B -3 Districts, and the Plan Commission has forwarded its findings and recommendations to the Village Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE -OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, LLINOIS: Section 1. Subsection C. of Section 17.44.030., Special Uses of the Buffalo Grove Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding the following: 19. Automobile laundry. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
