2012-0256/30/2012 • 1 . • ORDINANCE NO. 2012 -25 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE ORDINANCE N0. 2009 -56 GRANTING A VARIATION FROM THE BUFFALO GROVE SIGN CODE Svsmex America at 1701 Leider Lane WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and WHEREAS, the real property ( "Property") hereinafter legally described is zoned in the I- Industrial District, is commonly known as 1701 Leider Lane. and is occupied by Sysmex America; and, WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village have previously approved Village Ordinance No. 2009 -56 which ordinance granted certain variations: and WHEREAS, request is being made by Sysmex America, 1701 Leider Lane, to amend Ordinance 2009 -56 Section 4.b to read "The sign to be installed shall be in accordance with Zoning Board of Appeals Exhibit "E" Sheet Number P -4b with a revision dated of April 25. 2012; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing, received testimony, prepared minutes, made certain findings, and made an affirmative recommendation on the said request for amendment to Ordinance No. 2009 -56; and WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Buffalo Grove, hereby determine and find that the requested amendment to Ordinance No. 2009 -56 meets the criteria as set forth in Section 14.40.010, Subsection B of the Sign Code (Title 14 of the Buffalo Grove Municipal Code) in that Petitioner has shown that (1) the proposed signage is of particularly good design and in particularly good taste; and (2) the entire site has been or will be particularly well landscaped. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES. ILLINOIS, as follows: 1 0 0 Section 1. The preceding WHEREAS clauses are hereby adopted by the Corporate Authorities and made a part hereof. Section 2. Section 4.b. of Village of Buffalo Grove Ordinance No. 2009 -56 is hereby amended to read as follows: "The Sign to be installed shall be in accordance with Zoning Board of Appeals Exhibit "E" Sheet Number P -4b with a revision date of April 25, 2012" for the Property legally described as follows: Lot 2 in the Final Plat of Aptakisic Creek Corporate Park, being a Subdivision of part of the northwest quarter of Section 27, Township 43 north, Range 11, east of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded August 11, 2008 as Document Number 6379848, in Lake County, Illinois. Commonly known as: 1701 Leider Lane, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 Section 3. The variation is subject to the Appearance Review Team minutes dated June 6, 2012. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, and approval. This Ordinance shall not be codified.
