ORDINANCE NO. 2004 - 97
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORISING THE DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS
VILLAGE PERSONAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home -Rule unit pursuant to the
Illinois Constitution of 1910; and
WHEREAS, the personal property is part of the village's Fixed Asset
Inventory Control System and procedurally must be deleted through Ordinance
adopted by the Corporate Authorities; and
WHEREAS, the property described will be disposed of through trade -in, sale
or outright disposal, whatever appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES' ILLINOIS, that:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to our Home Rule powers' the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove find that the items of personal property
described in Exhibit "A" now owned by the Village of Buffalo Grove are no longer
necessary or useful to the Village of Buffalo Grove and the best interests of the
village will be served by disposal.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval. This ordinance shall not be codified.

NAYS: 0 - None
ABSENT:O - None
PASSED: October 18 2004.

I, Janet M. Sirabian, certify that I am the duly elected
and acting Village Clerk of the Village of Buffalo
Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois.
I further certify that on October 18, 2004, the
Corporate Authorities of the Village passed and
approved Ordinance No. 2004 -97 entitled: AN
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF
SURPLUS VILLAGE PERSONAL PROPERTY provided
by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet
form.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. 2004 -97,
including the Ordinance and a sheet thereof, was
prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted
in and at the Village Hall, commencing October 19,
2004, and continuing for at least ten days thereafter.
Copies of such Ordinance were also available for
public inspection upon request in the Office of
Village Clerk.
Dated at Buffalo Grove, Illinois, this 20th day of
October, 2004.
