2000-042ORDINANCE NO. 2000- 42 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR BOULEVARD BANNERS WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the Illinois Constitution of 1970. WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to promote civic and seasonal events on publicly owned property throughout the Village of Buffalo Grove. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows: Section 1. Pursuant to Section 14.36.010.M. Public Signs - the Village is hereby authorized to install boulevard banners on publicly owned real property to promote and /or celebrate the seasons of the year, civic events, and other events approved by the Village. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately following its passage and approval. This Ordinance shall not be codified.
